1️⃣ Not Locking In Min/Max at Purchase
Q4 is fast: shipments pile up, check-ins lag, and sellers forget to input min/max until it’s too late.
👉 Instead: record your minimum and maximum prices as soon as you source and store them in your buy sheet . Then push them to your repricer once stock goes live. This removes delays (and human error).
2️⃣ Using Purchase Price as Your Floor
If your min price = purchase cost, you’re asking your repricer to race to the bottom. Lower-tier tools will happily camp you there.
👉 Instead: set a buffered minimum (break-even + cushion). This ensures you never sink below profit – Unless your repricer has strong Buy Box recovery features, in which case you can test tighter floors.
3️⃣ Repricing Too Soon (Inbound Inventory)
Turning on repricing while items are still in transit can cripple a listing. You risk tanking the price before you’ve even got stock available.
👉 Instead: only activate repricing once your inventory is sellable. Protect your listings until your stock is live.
